Maria Loroño spoke to BERRIA´s Kinka podcast about the work of IMAGINE adaptation and our work to analyse how cities can adapt to face the climate crisis.
Floods, temperature rise and extreme weather are becoming more and more common. Examples of this include the heavy rains in Navarre back in May of this year. Many cities have specific plans to deal with the effects of climate change, but since it has not been defined what the appropriate adaptation is, these efforts often do not have a clear goal. However, what is clear is that: “Cities are not ready to face climate change”.
